A Festive Delight at Clarks Exotica Resort and Spa

While Bangalore was drenched in the festive spirit of Navaratri and a massive chunk of people left town to celebrate with their families, the city roads looked free and inviting. An impromptu road trip to re-live old Bangalore took my man and I straight to Clarks Exotica, en-route the Bangalore International Airport.

A Romantic Getaway

Festive Cuisines

The first look, and we knew we were in for a treat. A Navarathri special feast was waiting to fulfil our festive cravings. Chef, Suresh Babu churned out the most fitting menu for the occasion.  An elaborate spread of Sabudhana Thalipeet, Jimikand Ki Galouti, Sabudhana Khichdi,  Sinhade Ki Halwa, watermelon mint juice and their lip-smacking desserts made us dizzy with happiness.

Who would say a NO to these?

A Refreshing Stroll…

A stroll around the place to settle our happily full tummies led us to beautiful and quaint landscapes enclosing the resort. Lush green ground-covers, dewy from the evening shower with dreamy lanterns swaying in rhythm with the wind kept us company for the rest of the evening. It was a perfect wrap to a colourful long weekend.

My next visit to Clarke’s Exotica is most definitely going to involve some pampering at the much talked about Spa followed by yet another fabulous dinner. I can’t wait to go back again to try their  special cuisines for Diwali. Slurp!

Imagine life to be a colourful box encompassing luxurious travel experiences, free pampering, meeting interesting folks, about vibrant cultures and mostly about getting LOST! What more does one need to drop all things mundane and start afresh on this exciting new trail called “TRAVEL”? Putting my past experiences from print, television and online media together, here I am all geared-up to shoot candid moments, pen down intriguing experiences and set foot into an unexplored territory every time where there is no known language or people. For a living I act, shoot on camera and TRAVEL. Are we set to TRAVEL>EXPLORE>GET PAMPERED>SHOOT>REPEAT?
