From the wonderfully charming interiors with their iconic checkered tiled floors to the oh-so-Italian frescos on the walls, you will find yourself looking forward to your next visit before you’ve even finished your tiramasu!
What To Eat
First stop, the Verona wine and cheese tasting station! I barely contained myself long enough to place an order before bee-lining it over to the tasting area once I knew it was there. The Mövenpick doesn’t have a sommelier on staff but what they do have are highly educated staff who will walk you through the featured Italian wines and pair it with yummy formaggio for you. It’s quite fun and definitely very tasty.
Their menu has a wonderful balance of veg and non-veg options, which is perfect for Bangalore. They import many of their key ingredients directly from Italy and you can taste the quality in every bite. My favourite dishes at Mezzaluna are the ravioli, risotto and the not-to-be-missed tiramisu. The prosciutto with melon is also wonderful, so don’t miss that either.
As you’d expect, they have a great selection of Italian wines so it’s easy to pair the perfect wine with each of your courses. I switched between white and red as I savoured my dinner!
