Best of Jaipur! Tree of Life Weekend Getaway in a Gorgeous Luxury Villa

If Devil is in the details; he has been combed out of every blade of grass and corner of this absolutely heavenly resort. This decadent resort hotel is located up a winding dusty road just off the Delhi Jaipur Highway. Tree of Life is a perfect spot of sheer indulgence – in luxury villas – for any traveller with discerning tastes and a desire to stay in accommodations that make you feel as one with nature.

From the earthy entrance with glass paintings to the dining area, which is so perfectly personal, to the villas that are lavish, comfortable and completely private; you can create a multitude of memories here. In fact, the entire property is like an oasis in the otherwise arid lands of Jaipur and perfectly manicured.

Tree of Life gives you a hundred reasons to indulge.. here are a few of them from me…

The Property

This new Luxury Resort and Spa is sprawled over 7 acres and has only 13 luxurious villas. My husband and I stayed in the Pool Spa Villa, which meant we had our very own private pool, of course! Every Villa has its own name and décor inspired by names of exotic flowers – ours was called Jarul – and is lavishly planned over a 2600sf area. Everything from the interiors, the quality of linen, the bathrobes and towels, the upholstery, and the furniture seems hand-picked and exuding with plush comfort and luxury.

The well-kept lawns are perfect for a stroll anytime of day and night. I loved the walk around the property, which has its own little kitchen garden and a temple. Oh! The temple is exquisite and absolutely unique with a most interesting collection of Ganeshas placed in this open air temple.

The Pools & Our Villa

It was such a treat to have our own pool in the privacy of our luxury villa in the magical city of Jaipur. My husband and I loved to swim there following our in-villa spa treatments and our short afternoon siestas with some cocktails, it was perfect.

In addition to your own private pool they also have the Infinity Pool facing the Aravali Hills. Oh you must catch the sun set there! They also organise Yoga sessions with this picturesque backdrop if you’d fancy!

The Food

It was incredibly refreshing to not be walking into a dining area with the same old buffet breakfast. You can order just about anything and its cooked fresh for you right away. Try… Try any cuisine from continental to the local dishes, the executive chef will blow your mind with his magic. There wasn’t even one thing that I tried that I didn’t absolutely LOVE!

The juicy grilled burgers, the pastas, the soups for the health conscious as well as the local cuisine … everything, I mean everything, was divine!

The Cocktails

I love telling bartenders to surprise me by telling them my mood. When I said, ‘I want to feel like I’m on a beach’ the bartender at Tree of Life knew just what to do! He blended me a bright and light cocktail with home grown lemongrass and rum. So go explore!

What I loved Best

  • It was the perfect romantic get-away. Every inch of the property is just so charming and comfortable that you can’t help being all loving and loved!
  • The Couple’s Spa Treatments, which you can take either in your own villa or at the Spa facility, are really relaxing and sensual. We chose to have our massages by our private pool and it was bliss. When the therapists finished we extended the moment by enjoying a romantic sunset swim together.
  • The staff is just remarkably personal and made us feel so taken care of. And the turn down service and room service are also dealt with complete professionalism and perfection and not once did they miss on any of our special requests.

My husband and I had the most memorable time at Tree of Life, I highly recommend it for any couple looking for a special experience … and even for solo travellers or friends looking for a little culinary and all-around pampering. I honestly loved the villa, the view, the Vedic feel and the vibrancy of this truly magical place. The resort is so peaceful that we didn’t feel the need to step out of the property even once during our stay.
